We are working to create a Digital Literacy Program designed to bridge the digital divide
for our tribal members. With this initiative our goal is to provide digital access and
essential computer skills to our tribal citizens empowering them to thrive in today’s digital world.
As part of our new Digital Literacy Program, the Tribe distributed laptops, generously provided by AT&T,
at a special Laptop Distribution Event in Corpus Christi, TX on Friday, January 10, 2025. Fifty tribe members were selected to receive the laptops.
We thank AT&T Texas and Human I-T for their ongoing support of the tribal community, children, and veterans, as well as our mission to promote and preserve the cultural, social, and physical well-being of our people. The distribution of laptops enhances community access to online tools, technologies, and resources critically needed for education, work, cultural connection, and personal growth.
